It's been almost a year since I've done anything with my account. A lot has happened in that year. I got married, my husband joined the Navy, I got promoted at work and my sister is pregnant for the second time. I haven't written anything in forever, and for lack of wordy inspiration, today I decided to pick up my acrylic paints. Wow, I'm glad I did because I completed six pieces on basic 8x11 cardboard sheets.
Let me say this...I am not a skilled painter. All of these pieces consist of basic shapes and lines and a few look down right child-like. But I did it!! I have purged my self of several months worth of non-activity and sparked my creative light once again. Here's to the future, eh?
